Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect welcomed yesterday the third session of the BIOTECH ATTRACTION cycle of conferences: “Management and public and private funding for the agri-biotechnology sector.”
The BIOTECH ATTRACTION cycle aims to showcase the technological trends that will shape the future of agriculture, as well as examples of innovative companies and projects working in these areas. From BIOVEGEN, as a public-private association focused on supporting innovation in the sector and a collaborator of FRUIT ATTRACTION, we aim to highlight the technological and funding opportunities that arise for the sector through technological innovation, which offers new products, varieties, new applications of crops, new tools, greater production efficiency, and lower environmental impact… Ultimately, we want to demonstrate how technological innovation in the sector, driven by the tools emerging from a deep understanding of plant biology, provides business opportunities and competitiveness to the entire agri-food value chain.
On this third day, held yesterday under the theme “Management and public and private financing for the agri-biotechnology sector”, various representatives from entities related to project financing spoke, such as Ángeles Valbuena, External Technological Action of CDTI; Alex Marín, R&D Investment Manager of Kaudal; Carla Ibáñez, Senior Analyst of Clave Mayor; Paula Álvarez Ameijeiras, Director of Ecosystem of Eatable Adventures; Myriam Martínez, Director of Business Development of Incotec; and Fernando Pérez, Director of the Business Unit of National Programs of Zabala.
