BIOVEGEN collaborates, once again, with APADRINA LA CIENCIA in its Christmas campaign. APADRINA LA CIENCIA is a non-profit association formed by a group of scientists with extensive experience in research, whose goal is to promote research in our country and bring it closer to society. This collective promotes and executes various fundraising and sponsorship actions for scientific activities (funding for projects, contracts for researchers) in collaboration with companies and entities from different sectors. The collaboration proposals for this Christmas are as follows:
NATIONAL SOLIDARITY CHRISTMAS LOTTERY:
Online purchase of shares for €5 (€4 for the lottery and €1 for donation). The website is secure and certified by a lottery administration that has been collaborating with APADRINA LA CIENCIA for 7 years.
DONATION BY BANK TRANSFER:
- APADRINA LA CIENCIA was declared a Public Utility association in September 2019. Therefore, according to Law 49/2002 of December 23, all donations are tax-deductible. APADRINA LA CIENCIA will issue a donation certificate and will send the list of donors and the amount of donations to the tax authorities (necessary donor’s full name and NIF).
CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR FAMILIES: “WE ARE ALL SCIENTISTS” (€12)
This is a book with eleven chapters that propose experiments to conduct as a family and explains the science behind each of them. Each chapter has been written by volunteers from Telefónica and has been supervised and directed by scientists from various fields of knowledge and research institutions. A great storyteller, who is also a scientist, has created the narrative text that, through the tales of the small adventures of siblings Alicia and Bastian, guides us through the different experiments.
