The upcoming November 10th is the deadline for submitting the consultation on the European Union Biotechnology Law, aimed at regulating the use of biotechnology more efficiently, with the goal of improving the size and competitiveness of the biotechnology sector in the EU.

This new Biotechnology Law will propose several measures to create an environment that allows for the acceleration of the transition of biotechnology products from laboratories to factories, as well as their introduction to the market, while maintaining the strictest safety standards to protect the population and the environment.

Given the importance of this instrument, at BIOVEGEN we have prepared a contribution to the proposal on this law, where we focus on plant biotechnology.
