BIOVEGEN participated today, February 15, in the 6th edition of TRANSFIERE, European Forum for Science, Technology, and Innovation, which, as in previous editions, was held at the Málaga Congress and Exhibition Palace.

BIOVEGEN has maintained intense activity during the event. It had a bilateral meeting table where it held 10 meetings (with universities, research centers, and companies) with the aim of identifying and developing collaboration and business opportunities in the field of R&D in plant production.

Additionally, BIOVEGEN participated in the Round Table “Towards a Circular Economy based on Bioeconomy,” which discussed the circular economy, one of the latest strategic policies launched by the EU for the efficient use of available natural resources, and Bioeconomy as a tool for the application of Circular Economy in the area of biological resources.

In this Table, BIOVEGEN shared its vision of technologies derived from Plant Biology as engines for improving productive processes in agriculture and the utilization of resources and waste. Some of the activities promoted by BIOVEGEN related to the concept of Bioeconomy in the agri-food sector were also highlighted.

This participation of BIOVEGEN falls within the commitment of the Platform to the organization of TRANSFIERE. BIOVEGEN has been part of the Organizing Committee of the Congress for several years and actively participates in its Programming and Design meetings, as well as in the successive editions of the Fair. Thanks to this commitment, BIOVEGEN’s partners enjoy special participation conditions.
