BIOVEGEN participated last week in the BIOPESTICIDES EUROPE CONFERENCE 2022 that took place in Brussels. Based on the increase experienced by the biopesticides market, the meeting brought together key representatives from the industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities currently facing the sector.
BIOVEGEN participated as a speaker with the presentation “The need of boosting innovation and technology transfer. BIOVEGEN: Spanish PPP in Plant Biology”. This was dedicated to explaining the role of the Platform as a catalyst for R&D activities and business opportunities in the field of Plant Biotechnology and to present the Operational Group MICROLCIMATT as a project in which the platform is involved. Furthermore, due to the Platform’s involvement in organizing the event, BIOVEGEN partners had special participation conditions at the Conference.
The Operational Group MicroClimatt, endowed with a budget of 557,816.49 euros, is co-financed by the European Union by 80% from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and by 20% from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with the General Directorate of Rural Development, Innovation, and Agri-food Training (DGDRIFA) being the managing authority responsible for implementing the aid.
