On June 10, 2025, the final event of the Operational Group GO NATURSMOKE was held in Granada, where the results of this innovative project focused on the development of sustainable smoke products for the control of phytopathogenic agents were presented. The initiative, funded through FEADER and the Junta de Andalucía, has demonstrated the effectiveness of natural antimicrobial compounds obtained from food by-products as an alternative to chemical pesticides.

During the event, the main milestones achieved in the project from its inception in 2023 to the final trials were highlighted. The day also featured the participation of GO SIMBIOLIVA, a national Operational Group from the 2023 Call, focused on promoting and developing a circular economy strategy in olive growing, through innovative solutions for managing pomace.
