The European project MEICOM, in which BIOVEGEN participates, is starting.

The European project MEICOM (Meiotic Control of Recombination in Crops), in which BIOVEGEN participates, aims to expand knowledge about the mechanisms controlling meiotic recombination in relation to the production of vegetable crops.

This project, approved for funding by the European Commission, will start its activities on January 1, 2018. The project has a budget of 3.1 million euros, and in its consortium, in addition to BIOVEGEN, 12 research centers and 6 companies from 8 countries are participating.
