On August 24th, Radio Nacional de España broadcasted an audio on its program “Más Cerca” about the topic of genomic editing, a work that was carried out with material from the Symposium on Genomic Editing of Crops co-organized by BIOVEGEN and held on May 13, 2021.
At this event, the state of the art in genomic editing was reviewed and the social, economic, and sustainability consequences arising from the implementation of a more restrictive/ permissive regulation were debated. It featured the participation of experts in the field from both the scientific community, including Francis Mojica, and the business sector.
