On April 28th at 5:00 PM, the event organized by BIOVEGEN “Spain-USA: Innovation and Agricultural Production, a Window of Opportunity” took place in the Ferrer Salat Room at CEOE. During the day, speakers Jesús Valencia, Mayra Soler, German Loperena, Javier Romero, and José Maria Fontán provided insights into the investment model in R&D and agri-food production in the USA, comparing it with that of Spain, concluding that investment in R&D is directly related to the generation of wealth and the strategic positioning of a country’s economy in a sector as prominent in our daily lives as the agri-food sector.
