New BIOVEGEN partner: PLOID AI BIOTECH

A new entity has joined BIOVEGEN as a partner. Ploid AI Biotech develops bioinformatics software with a focus on artificial intelligence for life sciences, offering an agent-based SaaS platform for no-code bioinformatics analysis; as well as consulting services and bioinformatics work. Based in Barcelona, within the agriculture sector, its activities focus on accelerating the genetic improvement of crops through multivariable prediction models that support the discovery of new varieties, optimal selection of parents, genetic prediction of phenotypes, and the analysis of phenotypic data based on biostatistics, deploying its infrastructure mainly in cloud computing.
