A new entity has joined BIOVEGEN as a partner. ITENE has been offering tailored solutions for 30 years to all the companies that make up the value chain of the 4 major areas in which they work: materials and technologies for the circular economy, safety, design and functionality of packaging, safety and technologies for environmental monitoring and transportation, mobility and digital transformation.
Specifically, ITENE has the appropriate experience and facilities to develop biotechnology solutions focused on the valorization of organic by-products and packaging waste. The high added value products obtained have applications in various industrial sectors, among which are highlighted: packaging, cosmetics, detergents, agro, nutraceuticals, and food.
Additionally, they define and develop biotechnology processes for the production of high added value products using the most sustainable and technically and economically viable biotechnologies possible. These processes are developed at the laboratory scale, and can be scaled in their facilities to pilot plant volumes, allowing them to have a closer view of the industrialization of the process through technical and economic analyses of the same.
