INVEGEN collaborated with the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN) to design new transnational funding mechanisms for R&D in Industrial Biotechnology. The Association conveyed the needs and challenges of the sector (participation barriers, most important applications, objectives of IB, priority topics for funding…), with the aim of preparing new transnational R&D funding activities in the field of Industrial Biotechnology.
The MICINN, through the General Directorate of International Cooperation and Institutional Relations, participates as a funding agency in the ERA-NET Industrial Biotechnology (ERA-IB).
