BIOVEGEN participated last June in the XXII Meeting of the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology. This biennial congress, sponsored by the Spanish and Portuguese Societies of Plant Physiology, is one of the main scientific meetings dedicated to the study of plant functioning in both its basic and applied aspects held in the Iberian Peninsula.
During this congress, Gonzaga Ruiz de Gauna, manager of BIOVEGEN, was interviewed by Izasa Scientific, a company in the sector dedicated to selling products for Research, Environment, and Industrial Quality Control.
The interview discussed aspects related to plant physiology, the emergence of new pests and pathogens, and the need to develop technologies in collaboration between Science and Business to address the challenges facing the sector. The activities of BIOVEGEN regarding the promotion of joint R&D projects and activities were also analyzed.
