BIOVEGEN co-organized the I Meeting of the Operational Group for the standardization of industrial hemp in Spain, cultivation, and transformations. The meeting, which took place on July 13, was held at the National Center for Biotechnology (CNB-CSIC).
The Operational Group, selected in the provisional resolution proposal of Phase I of the Supra-autonomous Operational Groups Call, is aimed at developing a guide of best practices that serves as a tool for the cultivation and processing of industrial hemp in Spain, as well as the harmonization of existing legislation.
Representatives of the entities involved in Phase I of the Operational Group attended the meeting to begin the development of the activities proposed by the project. In this context, BIOVEGEN participates in the Group by coordinating the activities, as well as carrying out the dissemination plan for the results obtained by the Operational Group.
