BIOVEGEN has received information from the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPAMA) regarding a draft ministerial order to prevent cross-border contamination of GMOs to other countries where their cultivation is prohibited (ORDER / /2018, OF …, WHICH REGULATES MEASURES to PREVENT cross-border contamination arising from the cultivation of GENETICALLY MODIFIED MAIZE TO neighboring member states where the cultivation of those GENETICALLY MODIFIED ORGANISMS is prohibited).
This communication establishes a deadline for submitting corresponding objections, which ends on May 25.
