On September 15, 2023, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism of the Government of Spain published the provisional resolution of the aid granting procedure for the industrial strengthening actions of the agri-food sector, as part of the PERTE Agroalimentario.
In the provisional resolution of the 22 submitted flagship projects: 13 projects have been approved, 5 rejected, and 4 withdrawn. Participation of plant biotechnology in the projects:
- 59% of the submitted projects are projects with activities in plant biotechnology.
- Budget allocated to projects with activities in plant biotechnology: 117,203,108 euros.
- 69% of the approved proposals are projects with activities in plant biotechnology.
- Currently, the process is in the claims phase.
