On October 17th, the VIII annual congress of the Biotechnology Communicators Association – ComunicaBiotec was held in Barcelona. The main theme of the meeting was the sustainability of biotechnology and its communication. Gonzaga Ruiz de Gauna, Manager of BIOVEGEN, participated in one of the round tables that took place during the event, focused on “Sustainability in Environmental and Plant Biotechnology.” In addition to the round tables, the congress featured an innovative “face-to-face” format in which various experts discussed real practical cases of sustainability in the field of biotechnology and the importance of scientific dissemination as a fundamental pillar for conveying science and its relevance to society.
