BIOVEGEN participated on March 28 in the transnational meeting of the BET Project, which took place at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (ICA-CSIC) in Madrid. The BET (Biocontrol e-Training) project, of which BIOVEGEN is an Associated partner, aims to create a new distance learning tool on biocontrol aimed at a diverse group of trainers (training organizations, universities, technical institutes, etc.) in different European countries. The project also targets learners (students, farmers, professionals, etc.) to give them a better understanding of what biocontrol is.

The meeting served to bring together the participating entities in the project, whose main members are CSIC, the University of Cagliari, the French Training School LENO, and the French SME AKINAO. BIOVEGEN participated as an Associated partner with the presentation “BIOVEGEN – R&D network for plant Biotechnology” in which the role of the platform as a catalyst for public-private collaboration in the agri-food sector was presented.
