On June 11, 2025, the General Assembly of the European Technological Platform Plants for the Future took place at the Agrigenomics Research Center (CRAG), a multisectoral platform representing the plant sector throughout its value chain: from basic research to crop production and distribution, aimed at promoting market-oriented innovation, emphasizing the importance of public-private collaboration.

In this context, the platform organized a face-to-face symposium and a brokerage event to provide an overview of the R&D activities carried out by its various members. Additionally, it aimed to foster new networking opportunities among researchers and stakeholders in the agri-food sector, with a special emphasis on generating synergies, strengthening collaborations, and creating consortia to participate in national calls and programs linked to Horizon Europe.

In this context, BIOVEGEN, as a reference technological platform in plant biotechnology in Spain, presented an overview of its multiple services aimed at facilitating public-private collaboration, promoting the generation of new projects, and stimulating participation in various funding opportunities at the national level.
