BIOVEGEN participated last week in the 7th edition of TRANSFIERE, European Forum for Science, Technology, and Innovation, which, as in previous editions, was held at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Málaga.
BIOVEGEN carried out an intensive activity during the event. It had a bilateral meeting table where it held 9 meetings (with universities, research centers, and companies) aiming to identify and develop collaboration and business opportunities in the R&D field of plant production.
Additionally, BIOVEGEN participated in the Round Table “AGRI-ALI: Efficiency and valorization of resources in the agri-food sector. Optimization of the production cycle”, which included representatives from the technological platforms Food for Life-Spain, BIOVEGEN, PTEA, PTV, PTEPA, Vet+I, and Packnet.

Rubén Palanco, R&D director of the Huelva-based company Agrícola el Bosque, was the representative of BIOVEGEN in the round table. His presentation showcased the general operation of the company and emphasized the methods applied to reduce water consumption and increase efficiency in the production of quality berries.
This participation of BIOVEGEN is part of the commitment of the Platform to the organization of TRANSFIERE. BIOVEGEN has been part of the Organizing Committee of the Congress for several years and actively participates in its programming and design meetings, as well as in the successive editions of the Fair. Thanks to this commitment, BIOVEGEN members enjoy special participation conditions in TRANSFIERE.
