Last Tuesday, December 2, the Corporate Council meeting of the Spanish Society of Horticultural Sciences (SECH) took place, to which BIOVEGEN belongs along with a group of companies in the sector. The meeting allowed for a review of the activities for 2025 and to explore potential science-business collaborations for 2026.
The Spanish Society of Horticultural Sciences (SECH) was founded in 1981 and has 12 working groups that encompass all disciplines of agricultural sciences, in addition to playing an important role as organizers of conferences and scientific events.
From BIOVEGEN, the need to boost the scientific/technological knowledge and capabilities of SECH and the penetration into the private sector by BIOVEGEN was emphasized, to promote collaborations and science-business projects in the field of applied plant biology and horticultural sciences.
The meeting reaffirms the commitment of both entities to develop future activities that connect the potential of their working groups with the technological demands of BIOVEGEN companies, as well as strengthen participation in conferences and thematic scientific-technical events.
