BIOVEGEN attended the fair “ExpoAgro Canarias, Innovation Fair in the Primary Sector” that took place from March 11 to 13, 2022, at the Feria Institute of Canarias (INFECAR) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The event, promoted by the Economic Promotion Society of Gran Canaria (SPEGC), featured a space dedicated to showcasing products and services related to the primary sector, as well as a networking space for professionals in the sector. BIOVEGEN participated with a collaborative stand where attendees were informed about the activities and services of the Platform. A delegation of R&D intensive companies, members of BIOVEGEN, was also present at this stand, allowing them to make business contacts during the fair. This delegation included ABIOPEP, AlgaEnergy, Biotech Tricopharming Research, EC2CE, and Phytoplant Research.

Additionally, both BIOVEGEN and the five companies from the delegation had the opportunity to give a presentation on the main stage of the fair. BIOVEGEN took advantage of this participation to highlight the importance of public-private collaboration in the context of the agrifood sector and to present the Operational Group MICROCLIMATT, a project aimed at testing the effectiveness of microalgae bio-stimulants, in which the Platform participates.
