On December 1, 2022, BIOVEGEN participated in Biostimulants Europe 2022 with the presentation “Boosting Innovation in Plant Production and Biostimulants. The event brought together experts from the entire value chain; producers of biostimulants and plant nutrient products, farmers and agricultural providers, technology suppliers, research institutes, and government representatives… over two days of informative presentations, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities. Additionally, BIOVEGEN took this opportunity to present the Operational Group MICROCLIMATT, a project aimed at testing the effectiveness of microalgae biostimulants, in which the Platform participates.
The Operational Group MicroClimatt, with a budget of 557,816.49 euros, is co-financed by the European Union at 80% from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and 20% from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with the management authority responsible for implementing the aid being the General Directorate of Rural Development, Innovation and Agri-food Training (DGDRIFA).
