The International Excellence Campus in Agro-Food ceiA3 has circular agro-food bioeconomy as one of its strategic lines and is therefore strengthening the implementation of actions in this area across various fields of teaching, R&D, knowledge transfer, and dissemination. For this purpose, the University of Almería and the University of Córdoba, two of the universities that make up ceiA3, are launching a specialized training initiative through the “Master’s in Circular Bioeconomy and Sustainability,” a unique joint inter-university Master’s program in Andalusia.

BIOVEGEN, as an R&D network in plant innovation committed to enhancing the competitiveness of the agro-food sector and optimizing the investment in training qualified staff in the field of R&D, has established a collaboration agreement to support this Master’s program by providing complementary training to its students through external internships.

The International Excellence Campus in Agro-Food ceiA3 is the result of the integration of the Universities of Almería, Cádiz, Huelva, and Jaén, led by the University of Córdoba. Five institutions with a long scientific history are putting all their knowledge in the agro-food sector at the service of society and the productive fabric with the aim of contributing to the development of the sector and, in particular, addressing the agro-food challenges of the 21st century.
