BIOVEGEN participated yesterday in a new meeting of the Advisory Committee of Smart Agrifood Summit, an event that will take place on the upcoming days of September 30 and October 1 in Málaga. The meeting was introduced by Francisco de la Torre, mayor of Málaga, and was presided over by the team from the Málaga Palace of Fairs and Congresses. Representatives from the General Administration of the State participated, such as Isabel Bombal (General Director of Rural Development, Innovation, and Food Training of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food), as well as representatives from the regional administration, such as José Carlos Álvarez Martín (Managing Director of AGAPA); additionally, Juan Francisco Delgado, vice president of the European Foundation for Innovation, also participated. The meeting presented updates about the event, including the presence of the Water and Sustainability Forum and, as a new feature, the Olive Oil Innovation Forum.
