BIOVEGEN attended the last edition of ALIBETOPIAS that took place at the “Espacio Rastro Madrid” (Calle de San Cayetano 5 -28005- Madrid) and was dedicated to “Technology in the Food and Beverage Industry: Digital and Sustainable”.
The event was divided into three sections: the first section was dedicated to the presentation of startups and the delivery of the Ingenia Startup 2021 awards, in which the winners were Ingredalia, Vottun, and Lumensia Sensors. The first section concluded with the presentation of “3D Food Printing” by Patxi Larumbe, Director of COCUUS SYSTEMS, the winning startup of the II Edition of the Ingenia Startup 2020 awards. The second section of ALIBETOPÍAS focused on new business models and applications based on digitization, featuring contributions from ANFACO, Chemometric Brain, EY, ITACYL, GM&Co, and Andalucía Emprende. Finally, there was a third section focused on sustainability, which included participants such as CTAEX, Be Food Lab, Vicky Foods, CLEANITY, and COVAP. The day concluded with the delivery of the Ecotrophelia España awards, dedicated to students with innovative projects, followed by a space for cocktails and networking.
