The Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI-E.P.E.) has recently published the Call for SCIENCE AND INNOVATION MISSIONS 2022, to support pre-competitive research projects in cooperation led by companies. CDTI MISSIONS has been endowed with 125 million euros and supports with high levels of aid (up to 80% funding) pre-competitive research projects in cooperation led by companies. Among the 6 proposed areas of action, MISSION 3 stands out:

“Promote a more sustainable agri-food sector adjusted to the new conditions associated with climate change through the relevant use of advanced biotechnological tools”

Given the interest that this call has for the agri-biotech sector, BIOVEGEN and CDTI held today the Webinar “CDTI AGRICULTURE MISSION: Funding for agri-biotech consortia”. The meeting, which included the participation of more than 100 professionals from the agri-food sector, was divided into two blocks. The first was dedicated to presenting the main news about this Call, offering advice for the submission of applications, and clarifying doubts from attendees. During the second block, the research center CRAG and the MEDINA FOUNDATION made two presentations in which they showcased their activities and technological capabilities for participating in SCIENCE AND INNOVATION MISSIONS 2022.
