The CDTI and the AEI will jointly launch on May 23, 2024 the TransMisiones 2024 call, with a budget of 110 million euros in grants that will remain open until June 21, 2024.

This initiative will coordinate the financing of groupings of research organizations and knowledge dissemination, and groupings of companies that will collaborate for the joint development of a coordinated R&D action, addressing the challenges identified in the thematic priorities. Specifically, the intensity of the aid could reach up to 80% for companies and 100% for research organizations.

Additionally, within TransMisiones 2024, thematic priority 6 stands out: “Promote genetic improvement in both plant varieties and animal and aquaculture species to make them more sustainable, efficient, and resilient to climate change”.
