The AGROECOLOGY partnership, funded by Horizon Europe, brings together the European Commission and 72 partners from 26 member states, associated countries, and third countries to support an agricultural sector capable of addressing the objectives and challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, food security and sovereignty, and environmental protection, while ensuring a profitable and attractive activity for farmers.
This partnership aims to structure and support a network of living labs and research infrastructures that accelerate the transition to agroecology across Europe. In this context, next December will see the launch of the second call for this partnership, which will focus on implementing agroecology from different perspectives.
Given the interest that this call has for the agri-biotechnology sector, BIOVEGEN has prepared the following report, which gathers the main advances announced for this second call.
