The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge has recently published Order TED/1211/2022, which establishes the regulatory bases and carries out the call for the granting of aids to promote the circular economy.
In this Order, the common bases for all grant calls to promote the circular economy are presented:
- The 2022 cross-cutting call corresponds to the line 2 of the PERTE of Circular Economy (L2: Cross-cutting actions to promote the circular economy in the business sector) and has a budget of 192 million euros.
- The sectoral calls (expected in the first quarter of 2023) related to sectors considered priorities (textiles, plastics, and equipment for renewable energies) correspond to the line 1 of the PERTE of Circular Economy (L1: Actions on key sectors: textiles, plastics, and equipment for renewable energies) with a budget of 300 million euros.
These aids are closely linked to the PERTE of Circular Economy and aim to achieve a sustainable, competitive, decarbonized economy that uses resources efficiently. With these aids, the goal is to reach private sector entities, impact processes, and produce an effective transition towards circularity.
Given the importance of this topic for the sector, BIOVEGEN has prepared a report summarizing the key aspects of the call.
