On September 15, 2023, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Government of Spain published the provisional resolution of the procedure for granting aid to strengthen the industrial actions of the agri-food sector within the PERTE Agri-food Program.
In the provisional resolution of the 22 submitted flagship projects: 13 projects have been accepted, 5 rejected, and 4 withdrawn. Participation of plant biotechnology in the projects:
- 59% of the submitted projects are projects with activities in plant biotechnology.
- Budget allocated for projects with activities in plant biotechnology: 117,203,108 euros.
- 69% of the accepted proposals are projects with activities in plant biotechnology.
- Currently, the process is in the phase of appeals.
Given the importance of this aid, BIOVEGEN has prepared a Report that analyzes the provisional resolution proposal of the PERTE Agri-food Program.
