Conference “CEBAS – COMPANIES: Science and Technology at the Service of Agriculture”

May 20, 2025. Murcia

The Conference “CEBAS-COMPANIES: Science and Technology at the Service of Agriculture” will take place next Tuesday May 20, 2025 at the CEBAS-CSIC Auditorium (Murcia). Organized by CEBAS-CSIC, the Cajamar Cooperative Group, and BIOVEGEN, the event aims to promote collaborative innovation and the competitiveness of the Spanish agri-food sector through scientific knowledge and technology.

The Conference is designed as a tool to promote public-private collaboration and business development based on innovation, providing the sector with a meeting space that includes presentations, bilateral meetings (B2B), and networking activities. Additionally, the event will highlight and showcase the scientific-technological potential of CEBAS-CSIC, in order to promote new opportunities between the research field and the business fabric.

In this session, the event will be structured around the three main working areas of CEBAS-CSIC: Water and Soil Resources; Plant Nutrition and Health; and Applied Plant and Plant Biotechnology System. Each of these areas will feature the participation of research groups and leading companies in the sector that will present their lines of work and research as well as their technological developments. Additionally, the event will include a round table on financing and technological transfer in the Region of Murcia with representatives from INFO Murcia, CDTI, and Cajamar Innova participating.

The event is conceived as a tool for developing collaborations and business, allowing participating professionals to request and hold bilateral meetings to promote collaborations and projects between science and industry.
