The 5 identified Missions are:
- Safe, efficient, and clean energy for the 21st century
- Sustainable and smart mobility
- Boosting a large sustainable and healthy agri-food sector
- Advancing the Spanish industry in the 21st-century industrial revolution
- Providing sustainable responses to diseases and needs arising from aging
