On November 24, 2025, the State Agency for Research (AEI) published the new call for Public-Private Collaboration Projects 2025. This initiative is part of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2024-2027 under the State Program for Transfer and Collaboration and the State Subprogram to promote Collaboration among and between the Public and Private Sectors.
Key aspects of the call:
- Total budget of 300 million euros: 100 M€ in grants and 200 M€ in loans.
- Minimum eligible budget: 350,000€ per project (direct costs only)
- Grants of up to 100% for Public R&D Institutions and loans of up to 95% for private sector companies.
- Project duration: 3 years, starting in 2026.
- Among the 8 thematic priorities is: Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture, climate, and the environment.
- Application deadline: 09/01/2026 – 30/01/2026.
