The CDTI will launch on July 10, 2024 the Misiones Ciencia e Innovación 2024 call, with a budget of 84 million euros in grants, which will remain open until September 6, 2024.

This initiative will promote the funding of pre-competitive research projects in cooperation, developed by business groups consisting of a minimum of two and a maximum of six companies, led by a large company or an SME (excluding micro-enterprises). Specifically, in this current call, high aid intensities are anticipated, which could reach up to 80% in grants.

Furthermore, within the framework of Missions 2024, the Mission 4: “Ecosystem Decontamination” and Mission 8 “Sustainability and efficiency in processing and packaging for a quality and safe food industry” stand out.

At BIOVEGEN, we believe there may be opportunities for the agri-biotechnology sector in this current call through the previously highlighted missions. Therefore, we have prepared this report, which summarizes the main characteristics of the call.
