- DESCRIPTION: the “CAJAMAR Foundation” (hereinafter, the Foundation) is a private organization of Spanish nationality, of foundational nature, non-profit. The Foundation has the following general interest purposes:
- The promotion of the social economy.
- Social assistance for people in need.
- Social inclusion of people at risk of exclusion for physical, social, or cultural reasons.
- Support for the compliance with the purposes and high coordination of the non-profit actions of research, training, cultural and sports activities.
- SECTIONS:
- Agricultural Sustainability: efficiency in the use of fertilizers, energy and water, pest control, development of varieties and precision agriculture.
- Food and Health: production of quality food.
- Bioeconomy: productive model based on innovation, application of knowledge and optimization of materials.
- Greenhouse Technology: production structures under shelter.
TECHNOLOGICAL OFFER/DEMAND:
- Agricultural sustainability: soil-plant interaction, nutritional needs of crops, new fertilizers, and the development of sensors and probes.
- Food and Health: technology and nutritional knowledge, and the definition of mixtures of fresh or processed foods with preventive potential against various health issues.
- Bioeconomy: use of microorganisms to obtain valuable products and the management of agricultural waste, animal feeding, and effluent management.
- Greenhouse technology: development of new systems and methods to increase productivity and quality of operations with minimal environmental impact.
