On July 12, 13, and 14, the VIII Congress on Plant Genetic Improvement was held in Vitoria, attended by over 130 researchers representing all leading research centers in plant biology, as well as 7 agricultural sector companies interested in the advancements made in Spanish laboratories: genetic improvement, nutrition and plant protection, systems biology, plant-pathogen interaction, etc.
This year, the reference congress in Plant Biology featured a Science-Business Session (on Thursday, July 14), organized by BIOVEGEN, where researchers and companies gathered to enhance Science-Business collaboration and the transfer of research results from the laboratory to the agro-business.
