The Italian company organizes CAMPO DEMO BIOCONTROL (and Conventional) 2020, an annual event focused on field trials of products with FUNGICIDE action on vine and table grapes. The event, organized in collaboration with the University of Milan and AgroNotizie (Digital Agriculture), will be held in two locations in Asti (Piedmont) for vine and in Puglia (Southern Italy) for table grapes.

CAMPO DEMO BIOCONTROL (and Conventional) vine and table grapes will allow companies in the sector to evaluate their products (both commercial and prototypes) under the EPPO GUIDELINES of the European Union, under a model defined TOGETHER with the director of the Agricultural Faculty at the University of Milan and supervised by their researchers.

The focus of this Campo Demo Biocontrol will be Plasmopara viticola and Uncinula necator, quite widespread in the area where the demonstrative trial will be held, zones with high viticultural value (Asti) and qualitative value (Puglia).

As a partner company, and to stimulate the participation of companies in the sector, AGRICOLA 2000 offers BIOVEGEN partners favorable participation conditions:

€1,100 per Campo Demo in vine (€100 discount) and €1,200 per Campo Demo in table grapes (€100 discount), which include:

  • 1 thesis (1 product – 1 crop vine or table grape – 3 replicas under EPPO protocol). Each thesis also includes the product to be tested, reference, and untreated.

At the end of the trial, a report with the results will be provided. During the season, it will always be possible to visit the field, also organizing ad hoc visits.

Registration deadline: Friday, April 17.
