BIOVEGEN participated last week in the Infoday “EU Green Deal Call”. The event, organized by CDTI, was dedicated to presenting the new call for proposals under Horizon 2020 that will focus on the European Green Pact (EU Green Deal). The Green Deal Call, with a budget of 983 million euros, aims to mobilize research and innovation to promote a fair and sustainable social transition, with the goal of “leaving no one behind.”

During the session, representatives from CDTI explained in detail each of the 10 areas in which this call will be divided. The purpose of this session was to provide all available information and support Spanish participants. For this reason, at the end of the meeting, discussions were held with the heads of each area to review proposal ideas and ask questions to the speakers during the session.

BIOVEGEN’s participation in this Infoday is framed within the recent publication of the BIOVEGEN Report on the “GREEN DEAL” Call. This report summarizes the main details of the call, including an overview of the funds that will be available in the coming years, as well as their structure and distribution criteria, and key dates and aspects.
