BIOVEGEN participated last week in SMART AGRIFOOD SUMMIT 2020. The event, which lasted for two days, was dedicated to discussing trends related to major work areas such as food safety, opportunities arising from disruptive technologies –blockchain, big data, or robotics–, exploring new businesses, and environmental development and the circular economy, among others.
One of the main keys of Smart Agrifood Summit is to promote the creation of links between companies, universities, startups, and investors with potential collaborators and European innovation ecosystems, aiming to generate business opportunities and networking.
In this way, the meeting brought together agricultural entities, companies from the agri-food industry or related to food safety, companies with related technologies, investors, entrepreneurs, universities, research entities, public administrations, scientific and technological parks, accelerators, and business incubators, among other professionals.
