On September 1st, the Organizing Committee of FRUIT ATTRACTION met and concluded that, due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the 12th edition of the International Fair of the Fruits and Vegetables Sector will be held exclusively in online format.
To this end, the innovative smart platform FRUIT ATTRACTION LIVEConnect has been implemented, aimed at becoming the largest professional network and global community specialized in the horticultural sector. The next in-person edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION, organized by IFEMA and FEPEX will take place from October 5 to 7, 2021.
Participation of BIOVEGEN in FRUIT ATTRACTION
BIOVEGEN has actively participated in the last 5 editions of Fruit Attraction through various actions and has increased its presence at the fair year after year.
For the 2020 edition, BIOVEGEN had agreed with the organizers to enhance the presence of the ag biotechnological sector through various activities under the umbrella of BIOTECH ATTRACTION:

- Agri-bio innovation hub/stand area
- Partnering activities and B2B meetings
- Etc.
As a result of the current situation, BIOVEGEN is adapting its participation in FRUIT ATTRACTION and will develop various activities aimed at enhancing technological innovation and business opportunities for its members.
FRUIT ATTRACTION
The International Fair of the Fruit and Vegetable Sector is a benchmark event at the international level that brings together a large part of the producing, marketing, and auxiliary industry within the scope of horticultural and fruit production. The event, where technological innovations and updates related to the sector are showcased, had more than 2,000 exhibiting companies and over 95,000 professional participants from 140 countries at its 2019 edition.
