From the research center of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), following its latest sustainability report, suppliers of innovative bio-based material solutions for automotive applications are being sought. For this reason, a call for innovative solutions has been launched in collaboration with the European project BIOBRIDGES, in which BIOVEGEN participates on its Advisory board.
Call for Proposals Characteristics:
Objective: search for suppliers of innovative bio-material-based solutions.
Beneficiaries: bio-industries, SMEs, start-ups, research centers, projects funded by the European Union.
Funding: selected proposals will participate in an online event where they can be presented to FCA representatives. This event aims to promote potential collaboration between solution providers and FCA itself.
Application and deadlines: the deadline for submitting applications is September 24, 2020.
BIOVEGEN joined the Advisory board of the European project BioBridges last January. The BioBridges project aims to address the challenge of improving the marketing of biologically based products (BBP) by fostering close cooperation and partnerships between the biological base industries, brand owners, and consumer representatives. BioBridges also aims to involve other stakeholders, such as communities, local authorities, and other industrial actors, in these alliances between bioindustries, brand owners, and consumer representatives to establish collaborative pathways that promote the marketing and market entry of bioproducts.
