Last June, we informed you that the Organizing Committee of the Plant Molecular Biology Meeting (RBMP) had published a statement announcing that, due to the great uncertainty that still exists regarding the health crisis, the in-person celebration of the event in 2020 was definitively canceled and rescheduled for 2022.

However, the Organization conducted a survey to consider the possibility of organizing a special online edition in the autumn and, after receiving positive feedback from participants, a statement has been published informing that this online edition of the Plant Molecular Biology Meeting will take place on November 26 and 27, 2020.

The organization is currently working on the final program and providing a system that allows maximum flexibility and interaction among participants. To this end, the congress will be organized around 8 sessions over two days, which will run in parallel. The sessions in question will be:

  • Systems Biology
  • Plant Biotechnology
  • Development
  • Signaling
  • Metabolism
  • Biotechnology and technological tools
  • Abiotic stress
  • Plant-other organism interaction
