The European Pistachio Council (CEP) is a non-profit business association dedicated to serving the interests of the entire pistachio value chain. Therefore, it allows for the membership of companies and organizations across the aforementioned value chain, which share at least the following objectives:
- Promotion, accreditation, and certification of pistachios, structured around three essential areas:
- the production of plant material and inputs
- the agricultural sector itself
- processing and distribution.
- Having a legal instrument with visibility in the agrifood sector of nuts.
- Encouraging excellence and best practices both in the productive sphere and in marketing.
