During the event, the news and calls for 2021 related to the 5 Missions of Horizon Europe were presented:
- Ocean Mission
- Climate Change Mission

- Cancer Mission
The main objective of the Soils Mission is to ensure that by 2030 at least 75% of all European soils are healthy, meaning they have the ongoing capacity to provide ecological functions for all forms of life, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Green Deal. The Soil and Food Health Mission will deploy a series of activities and tools for the exchange of experiences, for the collaborative creation of knowledge and research, and to broaden innovation, in order to improve soil management. Additionally, it will promote changes in various factors that drive soil health to reverse trends leading to its degradation.
