From June to September 2021, the General Directorate of Research and Technological Innovation of the Community of Madrid has consulted key stakeholders from various sectors to identify scientific and technological lines of interest for the Community.

These lines will be an important contribution to the development of the Madrid Research Strategy (EM2i) until 2030, which includes the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) and the Regional Plan for Scientific Research and Technological Innovation (VI PRICIT). BIOVEGEN, which has been one of the consulted entities, participated on the past 7th in the “Health, Nutrition, and Active Aging” providing its experience.

The objective of this process is to energize and strengthen the business sector, positioning the Community of Madrid as a leader in future technologies. Over 100 experts have participated in the process, grouped into 7 thematic tables according to the priorities defined in the EM2i.
