New BIOVEGEN partner: MADEINPLANT S.L.

A new entity has joined BIOVEGEN as a partner. MadeInPlant is a biotechnology company dedicated to the production of high-value biomolecules in plants for use in food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or research, and to the development of biotechnological tools for the agri-food sector, providing support to breeding programs with solutions based on new genetic engineering techniques in plants (New Breeding Techniques, NBT). MadeInPlant is a spin-off from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), and has several exclusively licensed technologies.
