New BIOVEGEN partner: NAPLATEC S.L.

A new entity has joined BIOVEGEN as a partner. NAPLATEC is a recent spin-off from the University of Castilla La Mancha, dedicated to the research and commercialization of patents. It has scientists from Albacete (UCLM) and Valencia (IBMCP-UPV-CSIC). Its activity focuses on the development of new plant biological platforms for the hyperproduction of carotenoids, especially crocins, for use in the nutraceutical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and agri-food sectors.
