Yesterday, BIOVEGEN held a new meeting of its General Assembly. The event also included the session “Technologies and Opportunities in the Agrobiotechnology Sector.” Both activities, which took place in person (in the Ferrer Salat Room of CEOE) and virtually, brought together a total of around 200 people. During the session, the potential and applications of plant biotechnology, funding opportunities for the agro-food sector, and possibilities for participation in the International Fair FRUIT ATTRACTION 2022, specifically in the area BIOTECH ATTRACTION: the hub of plant innovation were discussed. During the subsequent Colloquium, BIOVEGEN members had the opportunity to ask their questions to the speakers. Additionally, holding the session allowed the organization of 25 bilateral meetings among different players in the agro-food sector.
