On February 23, the final webinar of the “Operational Group MICROCLIMATT: Microalgae for productive and sustainable agriculture” was held. The event, which involved the participation of around 150 professionals from the agri-food sector, served to present the results and conclusions of this innovative project.
During the final session, the project results were presented, showing the benefits of applying biostimulants in both crops and how the project has contributed to expanding knowledge about how they act on plants, from gene to harvest.
The Operational Group MicroClimatt, equipped with a budget of 557,816.49 euros, is co-financed by the European Union at 80% funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and 20% by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with the Directorate General of Rural Development, Innovation, and Agri-Food Training (DGDRIFA) being the managing authority responsible for the application of the aid.
